Eros Ramazotti who was born in 1963 into a poor family in the Roman quarter
Cinecittà, followed his 2 passions: Soccer and music.
In 1981 he won a competition for talented singers and it didn´t take long until he succeeded. Ramazotti gained popularity and fame, signed his first contract for a record and soon became one of the most popular pop-icons. As a producer, guitarist and song-writer, he also composed songs for Joe Cocker and Gianni Morandi and sang in duetts with Cher, Tina Turner and Andrea Bocelli. In fall 2005 his 10th Studio-album, like all his others, came out a success.
