During Founders Day Weekend The Beach Boys were on stage at a free open-air concert in Deerfield Beach, right by the ocean. Hundreds of people gathered for a big celebration and an open-air-party and danced and cheered to their music of the 60´s. As of 2006, The Beach Boys continue to tour, with only one of the original members (Mike Love). Mike LOVE, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is lead singer and a founding member of the group, Brian WILSON the original group comprised singer-musician-composer.

The Beach Boys are a pop music group formed in Hawthorne, California in 1961 who are widely considered one of the most influential bands in rock and pop music history.
