Sept 23, 2004: Simulation of a mine-accident on a field , search for mines and rescue and recovery of a mine-victim had been part of the training in Bruckneudorf, Burgenland, AUSTRIA.
1 Gallon of gas had been brought to explosion to simulate a mine-explosion. The victim had to wait for aid and “civilians” tried to get help as noone had been able to enter the field and rescue the “injured” due to “mines”.
