MOCUT - Mission Oriented Collective Unit Training

Sept. 28, 2004: The Training for “Crowd and Riot Control” (CRC) took place in the small village of “Reisenberg”, Lower Austria, AUSTRIA. The simulated demonstrations had been performed by soldiers only. The demontrators, soldiers in civilian clothes, dressed like people in the Kosovo, tried to break thru the barriers and barricades set up by the Military troops. Swiss troops joined the training , and 6 of the “Kürassier”-tanks, an Austrian production, will be sent to the Kosovo also. A fun-ride, off-road, with one of the big tanks, the “Kürassier”, ended my long day of photo-shoot in the late afternoon.
