There is a lot of Austrian history to be found in Golfclub Castle of Schönborn.
The magnificent Castle was renovated and is now used as a Clubhouse . It was built by Lukas von Hildebrandt
from 1712 - 1717 as a summer residence for the Chancellor Friedrich Karl von Schönborn.
The golfcourse opened in 1989. It was integrated into the 104 hectare of the park,
which was left in its original shape. A 100 year old Oak still stands in the middle of the 18 th hole fairway.
