The famous SHAOLIN-MONKS present Martial Arts (Kung Fu)
Wiener Stadthalle, Vienna, AUSTRIA – May 2 nd, 2006
The Shaolin Monks presented a performance of Kung Fu (Martial Arts) and proved that it is “all about the QI”, the flow of body energy , to control breathing and the spirit of the body . The monks of the famous temple of Shaolin, located in the Chinese region of Henan, achieve unbelievable physical abilities due to long meditation and extensive training. Those skills enable them not to feel any pain or to undergo injuries.
The youngest of the Monks (the “Shami”) is 7 years old, who has been brought to the Monks at the age of 5, builds a relationship to his teacher that last for his entire life. The oldest Monk, over 91 years and still top-fit, joined the group for the very last time on their 3-months tour, as he “will start getting ready for a long way on a long journey...”
